- Already been the key member of the Mahindra Intertrade Ltd (MIL) leadership team Sumit Issar has been appointed as the new Managing Director of MIL and Mahindra Steel Service Centre Limited (MSSCL) as a succeedor of Harsh Kumar who was bow out last month.
- Mahindra Intertrade Ltd (MIL) is the wholly-owned subsidiary of Mahindra and Mahindra having a network of independent steel service centres in the automotive, power and home appliances.
- Its steel service centres are at Pune, Nashik, Vadodara, Bhopal and Chakan in India and Sharjah in Middle East.
- Mahindra Steel Service Centre Ltd (MSSCL) is a JV between Mahindra and Metal One Corporation, Japan.
- Mr. Issar started his career in 1995 with MIL as a graduate engineer trainee and then served the company with large number of roles in sales and operations, product development, sourcing, supply chain management and business development.
