- 7,077-metre Kun Mountain, the twin of Nun, located in the inhospitable Zanskar range of Himalayas in Jammu and Kashmir has been conquered by G.R. Radhika who works as Additional Superintendent of Police of Adilabad, Telangana. With this she became first Indian woman to climb Kun Mountain.
- The record has been declared by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation.
- Kun is considered more difficult because of its vertical climb having numerous crevasses and the walls.
