China’s Chen Long and World No.1 and 2015 All England and World champion Carolina Marin bestowed with the BWF Player of the Year award from BWF President Poul-Erik Hoyer in Dubai.
Other Awards:
- World Junior Champion in Mixed Doubles and Men’s Doubles Zheng Si Weigrabbed the Most Promising Player of the Year.
- Norway’s Helle Sofie Sagoy won the Female Para-Badminton Player of the Year.
- Korea’s Lee Sam Seop was named Male Para-Badminton Player of the Year.
