The country’s third largest mobile operator by revenues and subscriber base, the Aditya Birla group’s, Idea Cellular launched high-speed 4G services across 750 towns in the five southern states of Andhra Pradesh & Telengana, Karnataka, Kerala andTamil Nadu.
- Idea Cellular currently holds 1800 MHz 4G spectrum in these 10 circles .By June 2016, Idea’s 4G footprint will cover 750 cities across 10 telecom circles.
- Idea have started 4G services ahead of the launch of such services by Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio Infocomm.
