- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid the foundation stone of fourth terminalJawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) in Mumbai on 11th October 2015.
- Project is being executed by : Bharat Mumbai Container Terminal, a subsidiary of Port of Singapore.
- The Project will be done in two phases.And it requires an investment of Rs 4,719 crore and Rs 3,196 crore, for the first and second phases respectively.And the project is expected to be completed in 2017.
- Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust is in 31st position globally.
