- On 11th october 2015 PM Narendra Modi announced that November 26 will be celebrated as Constitution Day.This is for creating awareness on people about the the immense contributions of the chief architect of Indian Constitution.The constitution was adopted on November 26 1949.
- Government decided to celebrate the November 26 as Samvidhan Divas to spread the awareness about the life of B.R ambedkar among the schools.He mentioned this after laying the foundation stone of Dr Ambedkar Memorial at Indu Mills Compound in Mumbai.
