Volleyball Federation of India President Chaudhary Avadhesh Kumar was elected as Executive Vice-President of Asian Volleyball Confederation in the 21st AVC General Assembly Meeting.
- He was also elected as President Asian Central Zone, AVC and Member of AVC Administrative Board a first instance in national Volleyball when an Indian occupies the prestigious post.
