Amritsar in Guinness Book of World Records
An offbeat message against drugs delivered through ‘largest bollywood dance performance‘ of students held at Khalsa College has earned Amritsar a place inGuinness Book of World Records announced by Deputy Commissioner Ravi Bhagat.
  • 8,726 students from 40 schools danced to the popular Bollywood song “India Wale” created a new record by beating the earlier feat by 4428 students in Mumbai in the year 2012.
  • The performance of students attired in the same dress, on October 3, 2015 for an anti-drugs awareness campaign has added another feather to the cap of holy city.
