India’s Ambassador to Tajikistan Biraja Prasad passed away.

• Biraja Prasad, a 1998 batch Indian Foreign Service officer of Odisha, was the youngest IFS officer to be appointed as India’s Ambassador to any country.

He had also worked as Deputy Chief of Mission in Embassy of India at Madrid. In the ministry, Prasad handled works related to India’s bilateral relations with Russian Federation, France, Germany and Spain.
