Devender Kumar Sikri (62), a former Gujarat cadre IAS officer, has been appointedchairman of the fair-trade regulator Competition Commission of India (CCI).
- He will succeed Ashok Chawla.
- Sikri will have tenure of about two-and-a-half years till he attains the age of 65 years.
