The Auckland Aces shot maker Colin Munro hit a 14-ball 50 to send the Black Caps to a comfortable nine-wicket win over Sri Lanka. His knock was second in speed only to IndianYuvraj Singh, who took just 12 balls against England at Durban in 2007.
- Munro, who has been elevated to No 3 in the absence of skipper Brendon McCullum, has played 20 T20 internationals for the Black Caps at an average of76 and a strike rate 153.33.
Murno has replaced New Zealand’s Martin Guptill (63 from 25 balls).
