French IT services firm Capgemini has appointed Srinivas Kandula as the CEO of itsIndia operations. He will succeed Aruna Jayanthi who has moved to a global rolewithin the Group.
- Kandula also joins the Capgemini Group Executive Committee.

Kandula played a key role in the acquisition of Patni by iGate in 2011 and of iGate by Capgemini in 2015. Capgemini had bought iGate in a $4-billion cash deal.

- Kandula had joined IGATE in 2007 where he was formerly EVP, Member of the Executive Council and Chief People Officer, responsible for driving IGATE’s Business Strategy, Human Resources, Quality Management and Marketing portfolios globally.
- Kandula is a Doctoral Fellow from XLRI, Jamshedpur. He has published over 60 papers and 8 books on Management in international publications and in multiple languages.
