HRD Ministry launched AISHE

The Union Minister of Human Resource Development Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani launched the 6th All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) in New Delhi.

• The survey aimed to find out the number of students in higher education in the country and improve the gross enrolment ratio (GER) in different sections of the society including reserved category and women among others.
