Former Delhi High Court judge, Justice Reva Khetrapal, took oath as Delhi’s new Lokayukta (anti-corruption ombudsman) at Raj Niwas. She will serve for five years.
- A four-member panel had chosen Khetrapal’s name for the post of Lokayukta.
- Delhi Governor Najeeb Jung administered the oath taking ceremony.
- Chief MinisterArvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta, high court judges, Delhi cabinet ministers, senior judicial officers and senior bureaucrats were also present at the oath taking ceremony.
