- Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has tied up with Paytm to offer an additional payment gateway for food ordered through its e-catering facility.
- To enable railway passengers to order food, IRCTC sends an email to passengers one day in advance about food order, which can also be placed during ticket reservations.
- On an average, IRCTC clocks 5.5 to six lakh e-catering bookings daily.
