Kasaragod district of Kerala has been declared as the second zero landless district, after Kannur.
- It was announced during the “title deed mela” by the Kerala’s home ministerRamesh Chennithala. The event was presided by state’s revenue minister Adoor Prakash.
- 30,900 plots have been identified for zero landless scheme in Kasargod District.
- As a part of project, 73 acres of land in Kasaragod taluk and 971.10 acreshave been made available in Hosdurg taluk.
